Today’s the day!, cross-network play for the Xbox One and Steam PC versions of Rocket League will officially roll-out later this afternoon by 3pm PT/ 6pm ET/ 10pm UTC, making it the first-ever Xbox One game to support cross-network play with a Steam PC game. Nearly 2 million Xbox One players have already competed in Rocket League since we launched in February 2016, but with today’s new cross-network update, your potential pool of teammates and opponents will grow even larger! It’s an historic moment for us here at Psyonix, and we’re really exciting to bring Xbox One and Steam PC players closer together. Cross-network play has been something that Xbox One gamers have been asking us for since the day we launched, and thanks to Microsoft’s new cross-network policies, we’re proud to give it to them.

Rocket League for Mac sure took its time to arrive, but when it on September 8, 2016, it changed cross-platform online multiplayer gaming for good: Yes, it’s really happening! After several delays (and our sincerest apologies about that, btw), the SteamOS and Mac versions of the game will finally be available for download. An important thing to note, however, is that both versions are still considered “beta”. Those beta days are long gone and Rocket League is one of the best games you can play on macOS. Rocket League is an extremely popular game that combines football with supersonic battle-cars. Released in 2015, it is still one of the most popular games out there, especially for online multiplayer gamers and e-sports fans. The reason why this game remains as relevant today as it was when it was first released, is the amount of content and updates developer keeps pushing out. There’s something new almost every month (like new cars, arenas, etc), but their latest Autumn Update is on a whole new level. You can download the game from.
Making a good game even better There are so many changes here that covering all of them would be impossible. But the biggest ones, including a new arena, new items and quality of life changes are the following:. A new seasonal arena called Farmstead. Redesigned ‘Wasteland’ and ‘Starbase ARC’ as Standard Arenas. More than 90 free new items to customize your vehicles. A feature called Transparent Goalposts to prevent the camera from cutting off the action (my favorite) And regarding MacOS-specific updates:.
The Steam Controller now works as intended on Mac hardware You can read their for all the details. It’s officially August 2016.
Happy birthday to the delay in Rocket League for mac! 365 days pushing and pushing the release date. A slow and sarcastic applause to Psyonix. Don’t get me wrong, I understand delays like the most, but A WHOLE YEAR of delay, while there have been dozens of updates, that’s just not giving a single f— and spitting the mac users on the face (and specially the Steam OS who were going to get a copy by buying a Steam machine ages ago!).
If you ask me, I would have put a little bit of effort on Read more ».
